Lia’s Colorful Senior Photographs in Fayetteville | Senior Photographer in Northwest Arkansas

It’s another awesome Saturday in Fayetteville and I’m headed to Megan and John’s wedding at Cooper Chapel and I am so pumped!! But! I’m not just pumped for the wedding – I’m super pumped to share Lia’s senior photographs with y’all! This girl is incredible in every single way and her photographs turned out gorgeous but, let’s be real, that’s no surprise! Lia is a total stunner!! This one’s a fave!

I’m going to be totally honest for a moment. Like, full on honest.

Every once in a while, I have a session where I’m a complete hot mess. Days where I run late or step in something gross while shooting or get home and realize that I have a HUGE amount of mascara under my eye from where I look through my camera or when I’m just plain tired because I’m a total night owl. This is never an expected session – it always just happens! – and, y’all, I was a hot mess at Lia’s session. I’d thrown on a brand new dress while heading out the door, got stuck in crazy unexpected traffic and, when I ran up to Lia and her mom Jane a whopping ten minutes late, I realized that the neckline on my new dress was basically to my belly button… and I was shooting. Nonetheless!! We persisted through my crazy arrival and mildly inappropriate wardrobe (ha!) and we got the most AMAZING photographs!! Lia and Jane were a total breath of fresh air and everything about this session was fun!

Lia grew up around sports – her dad’s a college football coach! – and she’s been playing basketball for ages. We wanted to incorporate this into her photographs and I love these court photographs we took at Walker Park! I am not a sporty girl at all so it was absolutely amazing to hear Lia talk about a sport she loves with her whole heart! She is so talented and sported the cutest shoes, too!

For Lia’s second outfit, we took some photographs by this awesome Walker Park mural (the lady in this always cracks me up!) and then drove off to the Maude Wall for a really fun and unique backdrop!

Seriously love all the color in these! And Lia’s eyes?! Dang, girl!!

I’ve said it roughly five thousand times but one of my favorite things about photographing seniors is this: It is so much fun and there are so many ways to show off one person’s personality. I love the variety in Lia’s galleries!! The locations, the outfits, the fact that we crossed paths with the cutest little deer – everything about Lia’s senior session was such a blast and, when I left, I couldn’t even wipe the smile off my face. I feel so lucky to have gotten to photograph this incredible (almost!) high school senior!! You’re the bee’s knees, Lia, and I hope you knock the socks off of your senior year! You’ve got this!!
