I’ve photographed so many amazing senior photographs in Fayetteville in my life. But you know what I’d never photographed before my senior shoot with Samantha in downtown Fayetteville? Senior photographs on someone’s birthday!!
YES! We took the most amazing senior photographs on Samantha’s birthday and you know we had to celebrate her with the cutest cake! So excited to share this amazing senior session with you (finally!! I am so behind!). We’ve got prom gowns, short tulle dresses, the cutest sunglasses, the most amazing sunshine, and a total gem of a senior. I had a blast with Samantha and her mom at her senior session and love these photographs so freaking much!

Something I love about senior photographs in Fayetteville?
Building the session totally off the senior’s ideas and personality. Photographing seniors is such a unique and lovely experience – literally can’t imagine my life without photographing seniors! – and I love the way Samantha pulled off so many awesome looks. We started with a soft prom dress look, then went for a sporty look with the cutest red top, and topped the shoot off with my fave hot pink tulle dress! We were able to get so much color and unique light at Samantha’s senior session but, with shooting in downtown Fayetteville, were also able to get such a vibe from the city. Shooting in Fayetteville is always one of my favorite places to shoot and it was the absolute perfect backdrop for Samantha’s photographs. So excited about these!
My fave photographs? Probably the ones of Samantha holding her cake!
Also my fave? The light!! We were able to get so much interesting light in these photographs and, as a photographer who adores light + texture? I’ll love these forever! Thanks so much for having me take your photographs, Samantha! You are awesome.
P.S. Want to know a funny story? I photographed Samantha’s family about six months after her senior shoot and, at the shoot, completely sprained my ankle by stepping into a hole covered by leaves. And yes! Yes I totally dropped some strong curse words in front of her whole family and it still makes me blush. Like… I’m pretty wholesome. But I also cuss a lot! I just try to hide it at shoots! Hahaha.
