Last summer, while taking our yearly pilgrimage to Salt Lake City to hang out with the Chandler side of our family, I decided that I wanted to shoot a fun mountainside bridal session. It’s funny – I first started photographing clients while living in Utah so, back then, the Utah landscape was the norm. Fast forward eight (!!!) years though and now every time we visit I want to shoot in all the places all over again! This spot is right near Tibble Fork Reservoir in American Fork Canyon and, y’all, it is insanely beautiful.

And better yet? Working with Eesha of NIYA Management was a total blast! I’d worked with NIYA back in 2017 when Kamari and I shot this super gorgeous bridal session in Salt Lake and, when we traveled back a year later, I knew I had to reach out to them again! They are an amazing modeling agency and, when they sent Eesha my way, I could not have been more thrilled! We had a blast at this session – and it was totally one of those where everything went wrong from me being insanely sick to us accidentally destroying this gorgeous kimono (ha!) – and I just love these images so much. How gorgeous is this girl?! And these mountains and flowers and light and Opal and June’s Norah dress, too!

Huge shoutout to Eesha and NIYA for making this shoot happen! Y’all are INCREDIBLE.

P.S. Yes! My kids came to this shoot with Andrew and, when we left, they were streaked head to toe in dirt.
