Today is the DAY! I am finally sharing Kelli and Andy’s St. Louis wedding with y’all!

Not going to lie: This wedding just makes me ridiculously happy.

Kelli and Andy are so joyful, so fun, and so downright awesome. They’re totally the kind of couple that you immediately want to become friends with and they were surrounded by so much love on their wedding day. I could say so much more – like that Kelli got ready at the quirkiest St. Louis hotel and that Andy and his groomsmen were hilarious and that Kelli is a (gorgeous!) breath of fresh air but, instead, I’m going to let these photographs sing – and speak! – all for themselves!

Congratulations, Kelli and Andy!! Y’all are so loved!

When I first talked to Kelli about her wedding, I pulled up The Boo Cat Club on my computer and fell in love with the venue immediately. It’s such a unique, creative space revived from an old St. Louis mansion and I love how everything came together! It was seriously stunning!

Andrew snuck the above photograph of Andy and his bestie right before the ceremony and it makes me laugh every single time. Way to have an awesome bromance, y’all!! Also! I know I said I’d let these photographs speak for themselves (and I’m trying!!) but I totally had to talk about how awesome Kelli and Andy’s wedding ceremony was. It was so full of personality and love and cheering. It was incredible.

After the ceremony, it was time for some magical portraits!

The star garland in Kelli and Andy’s wedding backdrop totally inspired me for a styled shoot I did two weeks ago with Amanda Reed Weddingssee a sneak peek here! – and shooting in The Boo Cat Club’s catacombs was such a fun experience! Kelli and Andy were up for anything and I love how these photographs turned out. It’s funny – I used to shoot only in golden hour light but, the longer I shoot, the more I’ve come to love embracing any kind of light and, in a matter of minutes, we took natural light photographs of Kelli and Andy, indoor photographs taken with flash, and outdoor nighttime photographs taken with flash. Coupled with the photographs from their first look, we were able to have so many dynamic and awesome wedding photographs! Ah!! I love creating fun photographs in all kinds of lighting scenarios!

Y’all!! Thank you so much for having me photograph your wedding!! I loved every single minute of seeing y’all and am so excited about how your photographs turned out! Hands down, this was one of the happiest weddings I’ve ever seen and I LOVED it!!

And one more thing! Dancing photographs are my favorite (the colors! the fun! the movement!) and I LOVE the green backlit one of Amanda and Casey below (pretty dang sure I did a fist pump when I captured it). I get to see these two again in October for Heather and Trevor’s New York wedding and I’m so pumped!

And I lied!! ONE more thing (for real)! Want to know what Kelli and Andy did bright and early the morning after their wedding? Pop on over here to find out!
