Cassi and Vant had an amazing wedding at Sassafras Springs this October and, honestly, it was one of the most magic wedding days ever. Sassafras Springs is such a gorgeous venue – the light there is divine! – and everything about Cassi and Vant’s wedding day was top notch. Fall weddings are the best and I was so lucky to photograph this one!

I first met Cassi and Vant early in the afternoon on their wedding day. Meeting a bride and groom for the first time on their wedding day happens a few times every year (I also met Erin & Eoghan, Moriah & Chase, Dyan & Brian, and Julie & Zack for the first time on their 2016 wedding days!) and, every time, I get a little extra hyped up on the morning of the wedding because I’m naturally more shy than outgoing (hard to believe, I know!) and meeting new people + shooting a wedding is super exciting for me. Ha! And as luck would have it? Cassi and Vant were so down to earth and so easy to photograph. I had the best time with these guys and I am thrilled to share their lovely wedding day with y’all!

Get ready for some magic, y’all! Here we go!!

The colors at Cassi and Vant’s wedding were insane. The light purple, deep red, and pops of berry-inspired colors were seriously so gorgeous and, three months later, I still can’t get over them. I love bold – and bright! – colors so, so much and their wedding was so much fun to capture. Also, I adore the way the bridesmaid bouquets looked against the girls’ dresses! Magic!!

Sidenote: I recently wrapped Anna and Jimmy’s wedding and, if you love bright and happy colors like these, you will LOVE their wedding, too! Both these weddings were dreams!

^^ The photographs above of Cassi and her baby kill me. ^^

Cassi and Vant’s wedding ceremony was so gorgeous! The arbor by ZuZu’s Petals was to die for – everything Cindy puts together is magic! – and Sassafras seriously showed off so hard for their sunset wedding ceremony. Also, Cassi and Vant’s adorable ring bearers totally stole the show during their walk down the aisle. Cassi and Vant’s son got nervous when he walked into the chapel and, when his cousin realized that his buddy had stopped walking down the aisle with him, he turned around, walked back to him, and then they held hands the rest of the way down the aisle. These two – who, let’s be honest, are already the cutest toddlers on the face of the planet – made, like, every single woman in the audience laugh and squeal, me included. Cutest. Kids. Ever!

I can’t even remember the last time I shared formal family photographs in a wedding blog post but, today, I had to share these! These two have such a gorgeous family!!

Fun Fact! We photographed all of Cassi and Vant’s portraits at dusk in a ten minute time period and they are some of my all-time favorite wedding portraits. I mean, these two!!

And (almost!) last but (definitely!) not least! It was time for the party!!

Everyone danced – and laughed! – so hard at Cassi and Vant’s wedding reception – the band and the DJ were both so much fun! – and, on top of the dancing, all of the kids had the most amazing time stealing balloons from the patio. The balloons at this wedding were all kinds of magic – both as decor and as temporary toys! – and, basically, Cassi and Vant’s wedding reception was a blast. Thanks so much for having me as your wedding photographer, y’all! Your wedding was everything!

One More Fun Fact Before I Let Y’all Go! Cassi’s engagement band and wedding ring are nearly identical to the engagement ring and wedding band that Andrew gave me. The only difference? Mine was white gold! I say “was” because Henry gave me a jewelry allergy and now my real engagement ring sits in a box (the one I wear today is totally fake – ha!). Needless to say, I LOVE Cassi’s rings!

And also?! What’s a wedding blog post without a vendor shoutout? So much love to all these vendors!
