Morning Coffee in New Mexico and an Afternoon at the Petrified Forest National Park
It’s been a minute since we did a travel blog post! So this morning? I’m taking y’all along for a quick coffee date in New Mexico followed up by an afternoon at the Petrified Forest National Park in Arizona. Andrew and I love a lot of things but two things we really, really love? Coffee dates – especially outdoor coffee dates – and national parks. It was so fun to pepper these in to our road trip to Salt Lake last year!
The vibes at Blackbird Coffee House were perfection. From the cozy indoor space to the botanical outdoor space, it was the perfect way to spend a slow morning before heading to Arizona to explore the Petrified Forest. The food and coffee were absolutely perfect, too! After spending the morning at Blackbird, we hit the road and then fell in love with the Petrified Forest National Park! The wind was absolutely insane (check out Andrew’s jacket in one of the photos below!), the sun was bright, and the hikes were awesome. Loved this park so much and can’t wait to take the kids to it one day!
But for now? Some photos will have to do!
