Ready for some seriously fun senior photographs in Fayetteville?
Fantastic! I have some to share with you this morning! I got to photograph Zeign this past summer and I had so much fun with him and his mom! Zeign’s an awesome high school baseball player and, to celebrate his love of the sport, we popped over to Walker Park for some bleachers, overgrown nature, and seriously gorgeous light.
As a mom to a high schooler (what?!) who’s been photographing high school seniors since she was 19 years old, one of my very favorite things is when senior incorporates props that are important to their everyday life. For Zeign, this was a much loved baseball mitt and a baseball, too! We got to take some really laid back photos of him tossing the ball in the air, went on a little nature walk, and ended our shoot in a racquetball court full of rain water. It was magic!

I’ve got a funny story from Zeign’s senior photographs in Fayetteville!
Actually, it’s more of a story of a story. Zeign wore amazing white and blue sneakers for his portrait session so, during the shoot, I was constantly checking for mud (there’s always mud in Arkansas, lol) and, when I was doing this, told him about one of the funniest school emails I’ve ever gotten as a parent.
It goes like this! When Max was in middle school and kids (including Max) were getting really into sneakers + keeping their sneakers clean, we got an email from the school saying that kids needed to keep their shoes on at school. Thinking this was mostly about elementary kids, I didn’t think much about it. That afternoon, though, I asked Max about the email and he told me it went out because a bunch of kids were taking off their sneakers to keep them pristine. They were running around in socks instead! Hahaha.
And if that’s not middle school kids in a slightly hurried paragraph? I don’t know what else could be!
