A Celestial Styled Shoot with Amanda Reed Weddings | Bentonville Wedding Photographer

Celestial Wedding Photographs in Bentonville

If you know me and my love for photography, you’ll know a few things straight away.

One! I love photography. Like, really, really love it in my bones and I’ll talk anyone’s ear off about why photography is the most amazing art form + how it’s so incredible that everyone has a different voice, a different style, and how it’s bananas that two people can stand side by side and photograph the exact same thing and still not create the exact same photograph. It’s amazing! Two! I freaking love color. Three! I love shooting in unique and difficult light. I absolutely love golden hour and early morning light, of course, but there’s something totally liberating about shooting in unexpected light situations whether that’s super dapple light, night time photographs, or strange available light. It makes photography so exciting and it’s amazing to me that there is always so much more to learn whenever I pick up my camera. It sounds so cheesy but photography is totally about the journey and not the destination and it’s incredible.

With that in mind, I am so super pumped to share this styled shoot with y’all!

Shortly after shooting Kelli and Andy’s wedding at St. Louis’ Boo Cat Club, I was super inspired by their subtle star details to take it up a notch with a celestial inspired photoshoot. I knew I wanted it to be bigger than something I would plan on my own so, once I had a Pinterest board put together, I shot Amanda Reed Weddings a quick email, she said “yes!” to planning (hooray!) and, a month or two and a lot of hard work on Amanda’s part later, we found ourselves at this amazing shoot! Amanda killed everything about this – the colors she used, the vendors she chose, the attention she paid to so many beautiful details – and I am so proud of the work we created! I’m so thrilled to share these photographs with y’all!

But first! Here’s Amanda and Tanarah Luxe Floral in their element!!
