Hadley’s greenhouse session was my very first session of 2018 and, frankly, this shoot put the bar for the year really, really high. We shot with plants. We shot with a cat that was obsessed with Hadley (he followed us around for over half the shoot!). For props, we used the ukulele that Andrew bought me for Valentine’s Day one year and the most random painting I found at a flea market and Hadley wore the cutest hat (I found a similar one on Amazon here and then found this one when I was looking and I’m 99% sure it will be in my closet later this week. Look at it in green! I’m obsessed.) and the shoot came together so well! I really wanted Hadley to pop in these portraits so, since the greenhouse was crazy filled with color, I had her wear a super minimalistic outfit and I just love how everything came together. It was the best!

Here’s Hadley, y’all! She is such a stunner and I’m so thrilled to share these!

Anyone else super into cactuses right now? I have been on a succulent kick for, like, five years but right now we easily have ten or eleven cactuses throughout our house. Henry’s started a cactus collection and it’s adorable – getting him this cute hedgehog planter next! – and now I keep eyeing cactuses for myself whenever we head to the greenhouse or even Walmart. They are my fave!

Also! This next series of photographs? I love them so much!
