Caroline is the sweetest student at the University of Arkansas.
Seriously- she is well spoken and kind and just awesome to be around, even when she’d cut her finger in an Architecture class earlier in the day and was dealing with a painful, bandaged finger through most of the shoot. I mean, maybe it’s just me, but when I have a cut finger, I am a grump. But Caroline is not! She was so much fun to photograph last Thursday!
We took quite a few of these with my brand spanking new Helios 40-2 and I am so thrilled with how they turned out. A little back story: I had never heard of the Helios 40-2 and, when my husband saw it mentioned it on a photography forum, I had this little baby in an Amazon cart and checked out in three minutes flat. I NEVER buy lenses like that- usually I debate about them for weeks and months and years- and I can honestly say that this impulse buy was the best impulse buy of my life. How dreamy is the bokeh in these?! So! Before I ramble even more- here is Caroline! She is a beauty and I am so excited to share these with y’all this morning!
