Greenhouse Engagement Photographs in Bentonville
Who’s ready for some of the CUTEST engagement photographs?!
Awesome! Me too!! Meet Kaitlin and Jon, y’all!
Kaitlin and Jon tied the knot two months ago in a gorgeous ceremony at Chapel on the Creeks, took a break with their bridal party to grab milkshakes on Bentonville Square, and then had the most fun reception planned by Amanda Reed Weddings at 21c. But in December? These two lovebirds were still engaged and we celebrated their love by starting their engagement session at a greenhouse! I mean, is there anywhere better than a greenhouse – Westwood in particular! – for an engagement session? I think no!
Kaitlin’s red dress was so perfect for the greenhouse, too! Love the joy in these so much!
After the greenhouse? We headed to Crystal Bridges!
After wrapping up the first part of our shoot at Westwood Gardens, we hopped on over to Crystal Bridges. Kaitlin and Jon – who grew up mere miles from one another in Illinois and then met here in Northwest Arkansas years later! – love the trail at Crystal Bridges so much and it was so fun incorporating their love for this area in their photographs! They even got engaged in a little lookout on the trail – it’s the spot with the stone bench towards the end of this blog post – and everything about their engagement session was awesome. Love these two + how incredibly in love they are, too!
And want a little laugh while you’re looking at these? I was insanely sick from early pregnancy during Kaitlin and Jon’s engagement session so Andrew and the boys tagged along during the shoot, my kids came away with at least three plants from the greenhouse and, when I met up with them after they spent an hour running around the woods and I spent an hour shooting, their little cheeks were flushed pink for at least three hours after. It was adorable and I’m STILL not over all the incredible leaves we got at Kaitlin and Jon’s December (!!!) engagement session! Northwest Arkansas showed off so hard this fall and I can’t wait to share more images with y’all from fall – and Kaitlin and Jon’s spring wedding! – so soon!
