Three Things I Loved About Lauren and Zach’s Love-Filled Wedding Day | The Happiest Wedding at Kindred Barn!

Lauren and Zach married each other at Kindred Barn in June and their wedding was unbelievably beautiful. The color! The joy! The flowers and the DIY touches and the fact that Lauren couldn’t stop smiling the entire day. Their wedding was like a huge cannon of confetti – everyone was so freaking happy for these two! – and I’m so excited to share a little sneak of it with y’all today! Here’s three things I loved!

One! Lauren’s Handmade Invites + Guestbook!

Lauren is the most creative girl ever – she’s and elementary school art teacher and the job was seriously made for her! – and, for her wedding invitations, she had drew and painted the sweetest map and details for her guests. Lauren is one of those creative soul gems that you love right off the bat and these sweet invitations were absolutely adorable in every single way. I loved them!

And possibly even better? For their wedding guest book, Lauren took a soft leather bound notebook and glued mementos from her and Zach’s relationship throughout the pages to create an awesome space for their loved ones to write sweet notes and congratulations. I love this for so many reasons but I also really love that, since the guests could sign wherever they’d like throughout the book, Lauren and Zach could use this guestbook as a journal throughout their marriage in so many different says. They could document their first year of marriage on these pages, write a note every anniversary, or just pop in randomly to write about their life together and I love this so stinking much.

See more of Lauren’s amazing artwork and hand lettering here! She’s so talented!

Two! Lauren’s reaction to her bridesmaids.

I’m just going to let these photos speak for themselves. Lauren, you are so loved!!

Three! The FLOWERS!

Lauren and I bonded real quick on our mutual love of flowers and they were everywhere at her wedding! From a flower crown to a floral ceremony backdrop to the centerpieces and bouquets, the flowers at Lauren and Zach’s wedding created such a romantic, whimsical, and colorful backdrop and I absolutely loved them.

Expressions in Fort Smith made these beautiful bouquets and they were STUNNING!

And BONUS! The cookie bar!

Don’t get me wrong – I love wedding cake as much as the next person (read: very much) but I loved how Lauren and Zach incorporated cookies baked by their family and friends into their wedding day! Lauren and Zach are such a laid back, cozy couple and these cookies added the perfect touch to create a homey, loving feel to their wedding day. Congratulations, y’all! We are so happy for you!
