A Couples Shoot at a Flea Market! | Daisies and Olives in Prairie Grove!

If you know me, you know this: I freaking love flea markets.

My dream day in Fayetteville would go like this: Breakfast at Arsaga’s or Briar Rose Bakery (hardest choice!), flea market shopping with a loved one, a laid back afternoon swimming with my kids, a creative shoot filled with awesome people and all kinds of gorgeous details, and a homemade dinner + late night with my husband (we are both HUGE night owls!). I’m a pretty simple girl but, y’all, flea markets and vintage stores are my jam. And living in Northwest Arkansas? I’m seriously lucky!!

I have so many favorite flea market in the area but, recently, my friend Lauren and I hopped down to Prairie Grove to check out a few new-to-us thrift stores. Prairie Grove has the cutest downtown area and, as soon as I stepped into Daisies and Olives, I knew I had to shoot there. It’s so well organized and so full of so many awesome treasures. It doesn’t even have that distinct Flea Market smell which is so crazy! This little – and by “little” I mean “enormous” – flea market is so beautiful and I could seriously spend all day wandering through these booths. Love them and love these fun photographs of Tanya and Chris!!

Knowing I really wanted to shoot at a flea market and also knowing that I wanted to shoot at at a flea market on my own before shooting any client work there, I found Tanya and Chris through a model call and our shoot was such a blast! Tanya and Chris have been married half a year and they are so full of personality and so fun and playful. I love couples who aren’t afraid to goof off and laugh like crazy and Tanya and Chris definitely fell into this category! How cute are they?! Seriously can’t get over how joyful these sweet newlyweds are! Tanya is beyond adorable and they are so in love!

After shooting at the flea market, we jumped next door to the sweetest coffee shop!

My session with Tanya and Chris fell on the same day as my Farmer’s Market engagement shoot with India and Elijah and it was the last cold day of the year. We shivered so hard during these outside photographs! Tanya and Chris were such troopers for these photographs and I love how much variety we were able to get in these – Magnolia Coffee House has the most adorable name, the cutest decorations and the sweetest employees – and Tanya and Chris killed the modeling game! Loved photographing these two so much!!

And even more exciting? Tanya is an up and coming wedding planner in Northwest Arkansas and, later this month, we are collaborating on a super creative styled shoot at a brand spanking new venue. Can’t wait to see her again and to create some more awesome photographs!! It sounds so cheesy and possibly a little lame but I am more and more grateful every day for the chance to take photographs all of the time. I love photography with my whole heart and love that, besides giving me the opportunity to create, photography has introduced me to so many interesting and amazing people. I love it!

THANK YOU Tanya and Chris for not even blinking an eye and saying “Yes!” when I said I wanted to shoot a session at a flea market! Y’all are incredible and this shoot was so fun!! See you SOON!
