If you know me, you know these two things:
One: I LOVE photographing weddings.
Two: I LOVE photographing people in water.
So! When Chris called me on a July afternoon and said that he and his fiancee, Molly, were planning an outdoor wedding by a creek, I was super interested in their wedding day. And when he paused a moment and then said that they wanted to have their photographs taken in the creek, I squealed like a fourteen year old inwardly and then said, “Oh. I love that idea!” outwardly even though I was already trying to Jedi mind trick him into hiring me then and there on the spot and over the phone, even though they hadn’t even decided on a location for their wedding yet. I mean, dream wedding, right?!
And to make the wedding even better? Chris and Molly’s wedding was attended just by close family and friends and, during their ceremony, they had their children stand with them. It was so sweet – and by “sweet” I mean that it was crazy adorable and I love it so much that they included their children in their wedding. It was lovely. And after the wedding? You better believe we went to the creek and let the kids go crazy in the water. It was so fun!
