Last week, I loaded my babies into my car and drove four hours to Kansas City to try out some new locations with some absolutely breathtaking girls. I can’t say why I tried out these specific locations with these specific girls (exciting announcement to come soon!) but I can say that photographing five girls in less than a 48 hour period was an absolute blast and I LOVED it! I have so many amazing images to share!
So! First up! We have Jasmin!
Jasmin was the sweetest girl ever. She was fun and funny and giggly and just absolutely the perfect high school junior with a mad love for modeling and her high school’s football team. I met up with Jasmin within thirty minutes of arriving in Lee’s Summit and, during our session, I had to have my mom meet me because I’d left my battery in a second camera bag next to my suitcase (Thanks, Mom!) which was, hands down, one of the most embarrassing moments of my photography career- I’ve been shooting people for six years casually and two years as a business and this was the first time I’ve had a battery die without a backup- and, through all of my just-arrived-in-town chaos, Jasmin (and her awesome mom!) was totally chill. It was so much fun to spend an afternoon talking with her and getting to know her while we shivered in the bitter cold and I LOVE how these photographs turned out!
And PS. I know I just mentioned it, but can you believe that it was extremely cold during this session? Jasmin is amazing and rocked this shoot- I can’t wait to see what modeling has in store for her and I’m so thrilled that I was able to meet her last week. And now! Really! Here are her gorgeous photographs!
