An Inspiration Shoot with the Best Window Light | Chicago Wedding Photographer

I’ve got the sweetest Chicago inspiration shoot for y’all today!

Taken in a music studio in Chicago, Illinois, this little bridal shoot was just good for my light-loving heart. We used one of my favorite Opal and June dresses (that tulle! that shade of bubblegum pink!), Andrew made a small backdrop for me out of cardboard boxes wrapped in wrapping paper, my sister did the hair and makeup, Poppy popped in as our mascot and the whole shoot was a blast from start to finish.

And fun fact! Angela and I were totally hair twins as I took these photographs. Anna tried the bubble ponytail out on me earlier in the day and it was so cute I couldn’t just take it down. The bouquets were made from a mix of Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods flowers and, after the shoot, I popped them in one of my favorite vintage vases. I’m loving the dry flower trend right now and love using the leftovers to decorate our home! It’s so lovely and somehow feels weirdly home-y too. I can’t help but adore it!

Excited for y’all to see this shoot! Huge shoutout to Angela for being such an amazing model! We had so much fun with you and I’m so happy with how these photographs turned out. Hooray!
