Three Things I Loved About Sydney and Michael’s Gorgeous Wedding | Big Cedar Lodge in Branson, Missouri!

Wedding at Big Cedar Lodge in Branson, Missouri

Two weeks ago, Kansas City natives Sydney and Michael married one another at Big Cedar Lodge in Branson, Missouri and their wedding was a STUNNER! From the location where the sunsets literally look like heaven, to the absolute giddiness of the bridal party, to the amazing love that Sydney and Michael share, everything about their wedding day was a breeze of love and fun and awesomeness. The whole day was a dream!

And today! Before I head out to Hailey and Mike’s wedding in Joplin? I am absolutely thrilled to share three things I loved about Sydney and Michael’s gorgeous wedding day! Let’s do this!!

One: Sydney and Michael’s Wedding Vows!

Sydney and Michael went off the beaten path with their wedding vows and chose to read them to one another alone instead of at their wedding ceremony. Before they even dressed in their wedding clothes, these two connected underneath a beautiful ivy pathway and spilled their hearts to each other through a lot of smiling and laughing and tears. This moment was so beautiful and they – and Sydney’s adorable sister Maddie! – could not stop grinning the whole entire time they shared this moment! They are adorable!!

Two: All. The. Family.

Sydney and Michael’s families showed up in full force for their wedding day! Parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles – there was standing room only during their wedding ceremony and everyone had so much fun together! Everyone in attendance was so excited to celebrate these two that you could feel the electricity in the air. It was beautiful!

Three: The Rose Petals + Sydney and Michael’s Lifelong Friends

Y’all know I love a good exit! Right after Sydney and Michael became husband and wife, their loved ones lined up outside of Big Cedar’s beautiful white chapel to throw rose petals as the newlyweds left the building. I loved this simple exit so much – it was seriously dreamy! – and, when bridal party photographs rolled around, I totally made everyone throw rose petals again… and then again during Sydney and Michael’s sunset photographs, too! And on another amazing note? Sydney and Michael have known their bridal party members since elementary school. Is that not the sweetest?! There was so much love and memories shared between these childhood friends and it made their wedding day even more heartwarming! I loved it!
