In late April, I got to photograph the sweetest family!
Sarah and her family just moved here and they are awesome. I don’t get to photograph families a ton – mostly one every other month or so – and, when I do get to photograph families, I get really excited. I am such a mom and I absolutely love photographing happy families. It is such a blast every time and Sarah’s family session was no exception!
Since Sarah’s family is new to the area, I suggested several of my favorite outdoor locations for their shoot and, at the end of the email, I said “Or we could try Prairie Grove Battlefield Park! I’ve always wanted to shoot there!”. Lucky for me, Sarah was game to try a new location and I was so thrilled – I’ve wanted to shoot there for ages! Their session could not have been more perfect and I’m so excited to share these cheerful family photographs with y’all!

I knew that Prairie Grove Battlefield would make for a pretty location but I had no idea that one of the fields opened up to this gorgeous view. Stop showing off so hard, Arkansas!
(But really, don’t! I love this gorgeous state!)
There were a bunch of dandelions out during our session so, naturally, we put them to work. Thanks for having me take your family photographs, Sarah! I had the best time with your gorgeous family!
