Hannah and Phillip are awesome and I am over the moon with their photographs.
Their engagement session was COLD. Not the kind of cold where your ears are kind of red and you might want to wear a jacket because your cheeks feel a little prickly and your arms are a little goose bumpy, but the kind of cold that you feel all the way down to your bones, complete with harsh wind. I love wind when it comes to photographs, but the wind at their session was so cold that I had tears in my eyes through most of the session – not just because I am a wimp in the cold, but also because it was so cold and windy that it just made my eyes watery.
But! Despite this! We ventured on and captured some amazing engagement photographs.
I love these photographs! We took these at James A. Reed park – otherwise known as the park in my childhood hometown of Lee’s Summit that I want to scoop up and bring home to Fayetteville – and we could not have asked for a better location. Hannah and Phillip are totally laid back and fun and up for anything and I am so excited to photograph their wedding in Fayetteville next year. These two currently live in Kansas City and I was so excited that we were able to do their photographs over Thanksgiving. It was so fun to get to see them and get to know them a little better. I mean, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – they are awesome.
