Morning y’all!
I am neck deep in editing all of my fall weddings right now (I’m looking at y’all, Catherine and Jim!) but, real fast, I wanted to pop in and show off Amanda and Daniel’s engagements for two reasons. One! Because they are awesome. Two! Because I love their photographs.
Amanda and Daniel are such a laid back couple and their engagement session this past October was so much fun. We met at The Square, walked around in the most a-mazing fall weather, and then headed to Lake Fayetteville to finish our session. The fall foliage was just starting to peak, the light was perfect, these two were (and are!) super in love and, basically, it was one of the easiest engagement sessions I’ve ever shot in my life. I’m so thrilled to share these photographs with y’all and can’t even wait for their May wedding at The Garden Room. It’s going to be the best!!

Once we made our way to Lake Fayetteville, we hiked around the woods until we found the most amazing sunlight. I’d never been to this section of the woods before and loved it so much! And YES!! I’m totally gushing on sunlight lately. The first half of the year was so rainy and, because of this, I am still fan-girling over all the light fall threw at me and probably still will be until June (sorry not sorry!). Also! After I made Amanda and Daniel go adventuring in the woods? I totally made them walk down a ton of rocks (twice!) so that we could get to the water right at sunset. And these sunset shots, y’all? They were so worth it and I love every single one!
