Catherine + Jim | Engagement Session in Fayetteville

Catherine and Jim are one of the funniest couples I have ever met. I mean, these two shine!

I like so many of things about this couple. One of them is that they are getting married on a Friday (more weekday weddings, please!). Another is that they are super happy together – seriously, whenever I see one of their posts about each other pop up on Facebook, I can’t help but grin. Another is that they are super easy going. And funniest – and most relatable – of all? I love that, when Catherine and Jim were in Fayetteville for a long weekend (they currently live in Louisiana!), they literally held, like, five wedding meetings in a single day. And their engagement photographs? They were the last stop of a crazy day! We had so much fun taking these!!

I’m so thrilled to introduce y’all to Catherine and Jim, y’all! Here they are!

Catherine initially inquired with me while my family and I were on a cruise in January (naturally, I still haven’t blogged these photographs – or even edited them!). I liked her immediately from her very first email and totally wrote her back while sitting on a beach chair in the middle of the Carribean while saying “I love her!” to my husband. Two thumbs up for having a husband who doesn’t even mind when his wife buys internet on vacation solely to respond to emails. Ha!

Naturally, I told Catherine and Jim this story right before we took the next set of photographs.

I couldn’t help but take a few photographs of the woods around Lake Fayetteville! Our session, though shot in May, was freezing cold. I couldn’t believe it! But! It sure did look pretty anyway.

After starting our session at Lake Fayetteville, we headed to Mt. Seqouyah where Catherine and Jim continued to be super in love and also super photogenic. Seriously, these two are so happy! I love it!
