Annalee’s Photographs at a Bookstore | Senior Photographer in Fayetteville

Annalee is a huge deal at our house. Like, I’m pretty sure Henry thinks she is his girlfriend.

Annalee is a huge part of the behind the scenes landscape of my family’s day to day life. She watches the boys for a few hours every week – mostly when I’m editing or driving to and from sessions – and, on top of that, she watches them while Andrew and I shoot weddings. This means that, sometimes, she’s with my babies for, like, fourteen hours straight and, because they think she is sunshine and roses and everything good in the world, our entire family just adores her. She is the best – and I mean that because she’s seen my house in absolute shambles and doesn’t even raise her eyebrow when she walks through the door and Henry is running around half naked while Max is in full on Minecraft mode on the couch and I’m still in yoga pants with half a face of makeup on. We just love her.

So! When I needed to shoot a session for my Clickin’ Moms Behind the Scenes Breakout, Annalee immediately jumped into my mind as a model for a Senior-type shoot. Annalee is a sophomore in college so, technically, she isn’t a Senior at all but I had so much fun photographing her at the Dickson Street Bookshop on a blustery November morning. Annalee is the most amazing girl and I am so thrilled to share some photographs of her with the world! She is so wonderful and kind!

And Sidenote! Moral of the Story: If you are my children’s babysitter, I will photograph you.

After the bookstore, we headed out to a less structured area of Fayetteville where Annalee wore the cutest boots on Earth. Everytime she comes over wearing these, I gush over them a crazy amount and, afterwards when I’m up in my office or driving across town I’ll think “Dangit! I said the same thing about those boots last time she wore them!” so, basically, I should probably copy her and buy a pair of my own – I love these boots so much!
