A few weeks before Thanksgiving, I stood in a Forever 21 with my best friend Lauren as I held a bag of, like, six Yankee Candles and another bag full of glitter nail polish and I watched her pull out a cute green sweatshirt with a look on her face that I knew was going one place fast:
We were totally going to photograph someone in that sweatshirt.
And photograph someone we did! After Lauren found the green sweatshirt, we found another sweatshirt with a bright red “M” on the front and, after walking around the store and convincing Lauren that she needed to buy a pink fur vest for an upcoming shoot (she did!), we left and ate Steak and Shake in my husband’s car after picking it up through a drive through because we are classy like that and also because Lauren had somehow never had Steak and Shake, even after living here for three and a half years.
I put up a Casting Call a week or so later and, after we found the perfect girls (Chloe and Lillie are both SO cute and wonderful!!), we scheduled our session for the last weekend in January and were both so excited for this session. Since the sweaters matched, we wanted to do a best friends type session and, despite not knowing each other until we said things like “Go ahead and hug!!”, Chloe and Lillie, I believe, totally pulled off the best friends look. I had the most amazing time with these girls and am so excited to share these photographs! Our models were so amazing for this shoot and all four of us had the best time.
Lillie (the brunette) and Chloe (the blonde) are both spunky, sweet, and happy girls and I’m still pinching myself that we found such incredible girls for this shoot. We honestly laughed the entire time – so much so that my cheeks were totally sore afterwards – and I am so thrilled to share these photographs. I absolutely love them! Here’s Lillie and Chloe, y’all!
