Fayetteville Photographer | Sixty Degrees and Sunny

Monday was probably the best day of Maxwell’s life.

We started out the day by taking a long walk with our double stroller. Huck slept, Max laughed and let the wind blow through his newly shorn hair, and I somehow pushed both of them several miles without getting any blisters. Halfway through our walk, Max was let out of the stroller to party on a jungle gym, twisted down a slide, and gave himself his very first black eye. He cried, I held him, and then he said, “I go, Mama!” and off he went to tackle the slide that had just hit him square in the face. Then he proceeded to go down the slide seventeen more times until Henry woke up and I hunted him down the tube slide, carried him back to the stroller, and buckled him up with tears and promises of watching Indiana Jones once we got home.

And then! After a lunch of quesadillas and juice, we watched Indiana Jones, played in a tent, and headed out the door to do our morning all over again, only this time he had his dad to keep him company. I had a maternity session at Lake Fayetteville that night (gorgeous photos to come!) and this is what I found once I was done:

NWA Family Photographer

I’m totally biased, but strictly speaking, I think I have the best little boy.

Lissa Chandler is a portrait and wedding photographer in Northwest Arkansas. Lissa lives in Fayetteville with her family: a husband who thinks ringtones are statements, a two year old who fell asleep in less than three seconds on Monday night, a five month old who spends his days sitting, and a shaggy dog, Napoleon, who she frequently mistakes for a teddy bear. Lissa often travels to the Greater Kansas City area and is available for travel nationwide. *
