Sydney and Jared’s engagement session was just so much fun.
Seriously!! These two are one of the sweetest and happiest couples I’ve ever met – they’ve been together since high school, their first date was a bonfire at Jared’s grandparent’s house, and they are just so fun and playful and awesome. Their session was such a breath of fresh air! Loved it!
Also exciting? We got to shoot these at a pumpkin patch! I’m the nerdy girl who LOVES pumpkin patches – they feel like magic! – and I was so psyched when Sydney and Jared loved the pumpkin patch idea and then was equally excited when Reagan Family Farm let us crash their land on a sunny Wednesday afternoon. How gorgeous is this sweet couple?!
A little more info on Sydney and Jared: I first met Sydney and Jared at Hammontree’s in Fayetteville and, from the minute I sat next to Sydney, I could tell that she was one of the most genuine people I’d ever met. And their engagement session? It totally confirmed this! We laughed so much during Sydney and Jared’s engagements and I totally fangirled over them, the pumpkin patch, and basically life in general through their entire session. Sydney and Jared are going to tie the knot on the same day as Donna and Matt – May 26th! – and their Kindred Barn wedding is going to be so gorgeous!!

Whew! After shooting at the pumpkin patch, we drove down a bunch of dirt roads to get to one of my very favorite lakes! Sydney and Jared love going to church together so we took some beautiful photographs of them with their bibles, incorporated the sweetest Dripping Springs Garden bouquet into their photographs, and basically just chased the most amazing fall light until it was dusk. The photographs below of Sydney and Jared by the trees melt my heart. They are, hands down, some of my very favorite images that I have ever taken and I’m so excited to share them with y’all!
