Ah! I am so excited to share these! Emly’s Senior Session in Dallas was the BEST!
Emly – a 2017 High School Senior from Abilene, Texas – is a Texas girl with a heart of gold who loves to make people laugh, go on adventures, and take photographs. She’s also an amazing tennis player – I saw on Instagram a few days ago that she is headed to State! – and I loved every single second that I got to hang out with her and her awesome mom. We had such a blast!
I mean, with backgrounds like this at the Dallas Arboretum, how could we not?!
^^ Emly’s older sister had her Senior Photographs taken at the same waterfall fountains pictured above and, as a mom, I love that so much. The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens are so insanely gorgeous and I’ve already made Andrew promise to take me back sometime so we can spend a full day there. It was beautiful and I’d shoot there all the time if I lived in Dallas! ^^
For the last half of our session, we shot at White Rock Lake!
Also! I may or may not have gotten us totally lost in the forest near the lake but that’s neither here or there, right? So glad Emly and her mom are adventurous spirits – we had so much fun!
It’s been two weeks and I still can’t get over Emly’s amazing boho dress!
Seriously! I love the patterns and the crochet top and the flow of the skirt and, well, everything. Emly (obviously) has the most amazing hair in, like, the entire universe and it was so fun to photograph her in a forest with a ton of light and leaves and, basically, these photographs make my photographer heart totally explode. Thanks so much for having me take your Senior Photographs, Emly! So excited for you to be up in Fayetteville at the University of Arkansas this fall!
P.S. HUGE shoutout to Emly’s mom, Mary Noel, for helping with Emly’s session. These two are so much fun and, at one point, Mary Noel even found a way for us to crawl under a bridge to get to the most amazing creek location. Thanks for being awesome, y’all! You’re both amazing!
