Y’all! I am so excited to share this wedding this morning!
Kaitlyn and Kale’s December wedding was one for the books! December 3rd, 2016 was rainy and cloudy and colorful and straight out of a fairy tale: Kaitlyn made the most stunning bride, St. Catherine’s at Bell Gable made for the most magical venue (as always!), the weather made the most breathtaking backdrop, and everyone at Kaitlyn and Kale’s wedding beamed the whole entire day. The energy at their wedding was so infectious and fun and loving and, three and a half months later, I’m still so thrilled that I was able to photograph this amazing day for two incredible people. Their wedding was phenomenal and I loved every single minute so much!

After spending the first part of the day with Kaitlyn and her besties, we headed to St. Catherine’s at Bell Gable. St. Catherine’s always looks amazing – it is one of my very favorite wedding venues of all time! – but, I’ll be honest: the rain made it even more magical than I’ve ever seen it look before. The chapel and the venue grounds seriously shined and I’m so glad Kaitlyn and Kale chose this venue for their wedding – it was perfect for them and their wedding day!

When Cole saw his mom in her wedding dress, he stopped mid-stride in the rain, shyly walked up to her with wide eyes, and then pulled out a Fisher Price camera without saying a word until he took, like, five photographs of Kaitlyn and her bridesmaids. It was one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen! And even cuter? The way he stood right near Kaitlyn (again, with wide eyes!) the entire time she had her bridal photographs taken. This adorable boy sure loves his mama!
This was such a magic ceremony! Congratulations, Kaitlyn and Kale!!
Aside from a few photographs inside the chapel, we took nearly all of Kaitlyn and Kale’s wedding photographs in the rain. They were seriously the best sports ever – having your photograph taken in December rain isn’t easy! – and I just love their sweet photographs so much. Y’all are the best!
After photographs, we took off for the reception!
Kaitlyn and Kale held their wedding reception at Mermaids in Fayetteville and it was incredible. Here’s a huge shoutout to their awesome vendors for making it amazing!

Kaitlyn’s mom and Mary Beth’s mom are close friends and it was so fun seeing her at Kaitlyn’s wedding reception! The guests had the best time dancing the night away!
