Lydia and Tyler’s Magical Engagement Session in Fayetteville | Forest Engagement Photographs

Ah! I am so excited to be sharing Lydia and Tyler’s engagement photographs tonight!

Lydia and Tyler are (adorable!) high school sweethearts and, basically, I think they are the bee’s knees. These two are such a fun and sweet couple and I’m absolutely thrilled to be photographing their wedding at Sassafras Springs next summer. Lydia is going to be the most gorgeous bride ever and, from the first time I sat down with them (at Onyx Coffee Lab, obviously), everything I’ve heard about their wedding has been dreamy. Like, I can’t even wait for July and I’m literally typing this with a mug of hot chocolate in front of me and a Christmas tree twinkling next to me. Ha!

For their engagement session, Lydia and Tyler wanted to celebrate nature and fall and, because I am crazy in love with fall in Fayetteville, I looked forward to their engagement session for, like, ever. Lydia and Tyler had the best ideas for their engagement session and I so loved seeing them on a Sunday afternoon in October to take these! These two look straight out of a fairy tale and I love their photographs so much. Meet Lydia and Tyler, y’all! You’ll love them!

^^^ That last photograph, y’all. I love it so much. ^^^

I’m not going to lie – Lydia is, like, the easiest person to photograph ever. Her mom loves photography and, like, three minutes into our session, I pulled my camera away from my face and squealed at Lydia that, as I just said, she is the easiest person to photograph ever. It helps that she’s adorable all on her own and extra adorable when paired with Tyler but it also doesn’t hurt that her mom’s love of photography (and love of photographing Lydia!) made her comfortable around cameras before our session even started. I mean, that means my kids will be easy for other photographers to photograph one day, right? Cause they sure don’t love being in front of the camera now!

Also, the photographs at the end of this blog post (and this whole set, really!) are some of my favorite engagement photographs I have ever taken. THANK YOU for being so much fun, Tyler and Lydia! I can’t even wait for your wedding and loved your engagement session so much!
