I cannot even believe that these photographs were taken two months ago!
Chelsea and Matt met in high school and they’ve been together for, like, ever. These two are so much fun! Chelsea is so bubbly and fun to be around and she’s totally the kind of person any girl would want to be friends with and Matt is, like, so in love with her. Chelsea and Matt are from New Jersey – near New York City! – and, to celebrate their two year wedding anniversary, we took these photographs!

We shot our session at Lake Fayetteville and, for the first half of the session, we included Matt and Chelsea’s dogs. These sweet pups were so much fun and now one of my life goals is to take family photographs with Victoria in them. I mean, how sweet are these photographs?!

A year and a half ago, my (amazing!) bride Jamie emailed me a photograph of a forest and asked if we could do her bridals there. I’d never been in this forest before – I’d been near it but never on the trails! – and, since I’m always up for a new location, I said “Yes!” and then I fell totally in love.
Back in May, I went back to the forest and photographed a small part of Lizzi’s Senior Session in this set of woods and, this fall, I’ve shot here all of the time. Like, this forest is the most perfect location of my life and I LOVE it so much. Don’t get me wrong! I have so many places I love to shoot but, because the light in this forest is insanely challenging and even more insanely magic, I just feel like a school kid with their very first crush every time I shoot here. I love it. LOVE it!
Chelsea and Matt were the very first couple I photographed here this fall (or ever, actually!) and I am so excited to share these! If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve definitely seen a few sneak peeks from this forest already but I’m so excited to share a bunch of photographs from this location!
Also, Chelsea and Matt? They are adorable. I so loved photographing these two!
