I hope y’all are ready to seen an awesome wedding because, today, I’ve got the sweetest one to share!
Zack and Julie were married at Stan Jones Mallard Lodge in early June and their wedding day was a breath of fresh air. Their flowers were perfect (it’s been six and a half weeks and I’m still obsessed with their flowers!), Julie and Zack were so excited to marry one another and, best of all, their entire wedding was super happy. Andrew and I loved traveling out to these two for their wedding day and I’m so excited to finally share their photographs. If you want to see a happy wedding, you are in the right place. I smile every time I look at Zack and Julie’s wedding photographs!
Stan Jones Mallard Lodge has the most gorgeous grounds – there were flowers everywhere! – and, when Andrew and I came across the spot below, we knew we needed to use it for Zack and Julie’s first look. I can’t even get over how cute these two are!
Zack and Julie were married right after the craziest Arkansas storm and, during their first look and portrait session, we had the dreamiest barely-there rain for their photographs. I love these next photographs so much and love the splashes of rain in the water. Rain on your wedding day is supposed to mean good luck and, judging by how happy these two are together, I’d say it is!

Aside from being the happiest couple ever, these two also had the happiest bridal party ever! I’m so into the shade of red (cranberry?) that Julie picked for her bridesmaids’ dresses and love the groomsmens’ red ties, too. This wedding was so bright and happy and joyful!
I’ll say it again: There was so much joy at Zack and Julie’s wedding. It was perfect.
For their exit, Zack and Julie’s guests threw flower petals in the air! I have seen some awesome exits over the past few years – from rice to sparklers to sprinkles to balloons – and, y’all, the flower petal idea was perfect. I loved it! Thank you so much for having me as your wedding photographer, Zack and Julie! Y’all are going to have an incredible life together and I’m so glad I was able to document the very start of your marriage. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. McCoy!!
