I had so much fun photographing Yajaira back in August!
Yajaira is a Senior at Rogers High School and is also one of my (awesome!) 2016 Senior Models and I have loved getting to know her over the past half a year. Yajaira is super sweet, really funny, has perfect hair, and also is, like, the easiest person in the world to photograph. She doesn’t even have to try – something about the way she looks at a camera translates so well into photographs and I noticed this quality right off the bat when I photographed her in front of a floral backdrop at our very first Senior Model meeting of the year. The girl is flawless!
And fun story! Yajaira babysat for Andrew and me a few days after her senior session at Lake Elmdale – she watched them while we were photographing Allison and Mark’s lovely wedding! – and, after the wedding, we all piled into the car and drove Yajaira home and it was such a funny car ride. Henry – who never, ever falls asleep in the car – fell asleep right off the bat and then, right before we arrived at Yajaira’s house, Max basically fell asleep mid-sentence. It was adorable and we’re so glad that Yajaira watched the boys for us. They loved her!
