I loved photographing Elizabeth!
This girl is such a gem! Not only is she super sweet and smart and fun to be around but she’s also an insanely talented volleyball player at HarBer High School (she got to go to the beach and New Orleans with her team this past summer!) and she is just a wonderful girl all around. I mean, I don’t say this often, if ever, but she’s basically the quintessential American girl next girl and I think she is amazing. Also, we are name twins (my full name is Elisabeth with an “s”!) so she has that going on for her, too. There are so many things I loved about Elizabeth’s Senior Session in Fayetteville – the weather was awesome (for late August especially!) and the town was looking so gorgeous and I loved her outfits and the laid back feel of our session and I could photograph her all of the time. For lack of a better not-overly-used term, Elizabeth’s session was a dream session.
But! My favorite part of Elizabeth’s Senior Session went like this:
While photographing Elizabeth in one of my very favorite hidden spots in Fayetteville, we walked back to a parking lot and saw a car parked there semi-creepily (I say semi-creepily because we had seen them drive by a few minutes before). We walked past the car and, when we reached our cars, we looked over and saw a man walking over. He asked Elizabeth if she was a model and also asked if he could take a photograph with her and, in that moment, Elizabeth’s (amazing!!) mom, Christine, shut him down like a total Mama Bear with a single, calm “No” and it was the most amazing thing to watch. When he asked if he could still take a photo with her even though her mom had already said no, Christine shut him down with a single, calm “No” once again and it was spectacular and, basically, if I ever have daughters, I hope to be half the mom that Christine is. She is awesome!
Which brings me to Elizabeth’s photographs! This girl could totally be a model and I am so thrilled to share her photographs with y’all. You are going to love her!!
