Tara | Rollerskating in Fayetteville

I had so much fun photographing Tara this past June.

I’ve had this pair of roller skates sitting in my closet (Okay fine! They were under my bed and then in the back of my car for way longer than I’d like to admit!) since Olivia’s model session in Kansas City back in 2013. These roller skates also made an appearance on Lindsey at our 2015 Senior Model Shoot at Walker Park and, besides that, they have basically collected dust.

But! There’s a catch!

I LOVE these roller skates. I think they are so adorable and cute and, when I had a rescheduled session in one of the busiest months of my life, I quickly put out a model call and fit Tara into my crazy shooting schedule so that I could, for the third time, photograph a styled shoot of a girl wearing roller skates. Tara was the perfect model. Besides being adorable, super fun, and just altogether cheery to be around, Tara also used to skate in a roller derby (I know, right?!) and this session was such a piece of cake. I loved photographing Tara and, when I see these photographs, I swear I can still hear her laughing. She is the best and I’m so glad I was able to photograph her!

And Spoiler! There’s some smoke bombs in these photographs, too, and they are my fave.
