Grant’s Senior Session in Fayetteville | NWA Senior Photographer!

I’m not going to lie, I feel slightly bad that I’m putting Grant on this blog.

The flowers! The super girly cursive writing! The flowers! The super girly colors! The overall feeling that this blog is, hands down, the most girly place on the entire world wide web! Also, did I mention all the flowers everywhere? Ha! But! Grant is such an amazing High School Senior and, even though I may possibly have the most girly website in existence, I had to blog Grant’s (super boyish) senior photographs in Fayetteville anyway. This guy is so awesome!

I don’t get to photograph Senior Boys often – and honestly I don’t always blog them because, again, most girly website ever – but, when I do, the session is always amazing. I have two younger brothers currently in high school – one is a Freshman this year and the other is a Junior! (which doesn’t even seem possible!!) – and, because of this, photographing Senior Boys is so fun and also pretty natural for me. I am, like, constantly surrounded by boys. I have one (gorgeous!) sister but I have four (FOUR!) brothers – two older than me, two way younger – and, on top of that, Andrew has two brothers and no sisters. And then, obviously, I have two sons and a husband and, even though my house looks like it’s dominated by girls at nearly each and every corner (y’all know I’m painting my half bath in a bumblebee pattern, right?), I am surrounded by boys all of the time and have been for my entire life.

So! Photographing Senior Boys? It’s a breeze! Grant’s session was such a blast and I loved every single second. Grant wanted unique buildings in his photographs so, right off the bat, I knew that we needed to shoot at the University of Arkansas. On the day of his session, the forecast called for clear skies but, at his session, the sky kept getting darker and darker and darker and thunder started rolling like crazy so, when we finished his session, I said “Let’s wait!” and then literally made Grant wait outside until it started pouring rain so we could take photographs in the rain.

It. Was. Amazing.

I mean, the hashtag #worthit totally applies here and I’m real excited about these photographs. So! On this fine Saturday – specifically the morning of the day that I get to go and shoot Andrew and Tina’s wedding! – I am absolutely thrilled to share these photographs with y’all. Thanks for being so easy to photograph, Grant! I love how these turned out!!
