Macey is totally full of life and photographing her was a total joy.
I love this girl! Macey is one of my 2016 Senior Models and, from the very beginning, I knew that her photographs would be full of adventure and fun and a ton of adorable outfits. Macey is an upcoming senior at Bentonville High School (I love all my Bentonville girls!) and, when we started planning her session, I said, “I LOVE that idea!!” at least seven times because I knew that her photographs were going to turn out amazing. I was so thrilled to shoot these! And as expected? They turned out gorgeous!!
We took Macey’s photographs at Bentonville Square and then drove up to Tanyard Creek where we walked around barefoot in creeks and were stalked by a blue heron and also encountered the largest swarm of gnats I’ve ever seen in my entire life. Macey brought her mom and her younger sister to her session and, while we took these photographs, it was so fun to get to know them and talk to them and, when it was time for the water photographs, we had the best time throwing flowers in the water and splashing water and, basically, we laughed the whole time. Macey’s session was so much fun!
Also, a huge shoutout to this wonderful girl! Before her session, I called her while carrying twenty mason jars in one arm while Max trailed behind me explaining a new super hero he had just made up and, while talking, I sounded super bossy and rushed and, afterwards, I sent her a text with, like, three laughing emoticons explaining why I was a total hot mess. And lucky for me? She didn’t even mind and sent a whole bunch of emoticons back. Ha! Emoticons are my fave.
