Maddie | the Loveliest HarBer Senior Photographs

Maddie just radiates goodness.

She is so lovely! I was so thrilled when I first met Maddie at her senior session. Maddie, a senior at HarBer High School, was my very last senior for the Class of 2015 and, as soon as I met her, I was totally struck by how poised and kind she was and, less than thirty minutes into our session, I kept saying “You’re like a real life Cinderella!” because, well, she totally is. This girl is the sweetest and I am so happy that I was able to spend an afternoon with her and her awesome (and equally gorgeous!) mother.

And even better? Maddie will be attending my alma mater for college! I absolutely loved my four years at BYU (in Provo, Utah) and it was so fun talking to her about her dorm and her roommate and her major and about the town (and buildings!) she’ll spend the next few years in. I spent my years at BYU studying European History (ask me about Anne Boleyn because I know everrrrything), writing a ton of creative writing assignments (I double majored in History and English), and working at the Special Collections of the library processing 19th century documents (have I mentioned that I am a super nerd?) and it was so fun to talk about those years with Maddie and her mom (who also went to BYU!) just a few months before Maddie embarks on college. Maddie is going to have such a wonderful time over the next few years and, really, I am just so excited for her. BYU is the best!

Now! Let’s get to those photographs! These photographs of Maddie are some of my very favorite work of all time and I can’t even put into words how happy I am to share these with y’all today. Meet Maddie, y’all! She is so wonderful!
