Say Hello to the Face of 2015! | Lissa Chandler Photography Senior Models

I am so excited about this blog post!

The first time I ever photographed a high school senior, I was nineteen years old. I shot the entire session on black and white film (I know, right?!) and loved every second of it- it was such an amazing experience. So, when I officially started my business in 2011, I knew that I wanted to photograph high school seniors- I had photographed several casually before I was in business (my sister and cousins included!) and, once I moved to Arkansas and became official, I knew that I wanted to photograph a lot of seniors.

Then the strangest thing happened- I started photographing weddings instead.

And you guys- I love weddings. I adore every single thing about them and can’t get enough of them and, by the middle of this year, you’re going to be totally overloaded on my wedding blog posts and my insanely gorgeous brides and totally smitten grooms. But! Despite this! When I only photographed weddings, I felt like something was missing- I missed working with a single subject and I missed the eagerness and excitement and fresh air that came with photographing high school seniors. So, I started planning and dreaming and decided that, no matter what, once I finished my maternity leave, I was going to photograph a lot of seniors. And I have! I really have! But, you see, along with photographing seniors, there was another thing I wanted to do. And that thing? That thing was a senior model program.

I have been studying, comparing, and sketching out senior model program since the middle of 2012. And when I started receiving applications for my 2015 model program? I went over them with a fine toothed comb… and then I went over them again… and then again. From those application, I selected fourteen girls from high schools all over Northwest Arkansas to represent Lissa Chandler Photography. These girls are smart, active, fun, and altogether amazing girls and I am so excited to have them be part of this program. It is going to be such a blast!

Which brings me to the photographs.

Meet my 2015 models, y’all! They are adorable and I am so thrilled to have them!

Lissa is available for travel nationwide. *

Also, yes. The “2” in the “2015” balloons was turned backwards for half of this photo session. Woops!
