Matt and Elizabeth met two years ago in Provo, Utah right after Elizabeth moved into town and either right before or right after Matthew moved forty minutes north to Salt Lake City. I once heard Elizabeth say “I worked so hard to get started on my Masters and then I saw Matthew and thought, ‘Whew. He is smoking.'”. Two months later they were engaged and two and a half months after that, they were married in Portland, Oregon and I was a good sister-in-law and only cried a little.
These three are the sweetest family (and I say that with completely no bias of course!). Their daughter (whom my son Max refers to as “My Izzy!!”) is one of the happiest, most relaxed babies I have ever met. During our week together in Washington DC, I probably heard her cry three times. She is awesome. They are awesome. And these photographs? Well, I think they are pretty awesome, too.
